Regulus Group and NextGen
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded Booz Allen Hamilton along with several subcontractors, including Regulus Group, an engineering and program management contract to support the FAA’s implementation of the nation’s Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen).
Under the ten-year contract with an estimated potential value of more than $700 million, this team will support the FAA’s evolution to NextGen as part of the agency’s effort to improve aviation safety and bring greater efficiencies to the nation’s airspace system. Booz Allen, the prime contractor, has assembled a team to support the FAA’s transformation to NextGen with large and small business partners.
The large business partners are known for their analytic, program and portfolio management, engineering and integration skills, and their National Airspace System experience. Additionally, several small business partners, including Regulus Group, offer specialized and diverse expertise in critical technologies such as communication, navigation, surveillance, and automation
This contract provides Regulus Group the opportunity to support various NextGen initiatives in the following areas: systems engineering management, requirements design and definition, configuration management, safety engineering/management and program management, including investment and business case analysis, business planning, and program planning/financial management.
“Regulus is extremely proud to be a part of this team and we are very excited to be working with teammates who have such impressive reputations and expertise. Regulus looks forward to contributing to the successful implementation of NextGen. This provides us an excellent opportunity to promote internal development and growth as a company,” said Karl Roulston, Managing Partner.
“We are able to build off our success with ADS-B, the cornerstone of NextGen, which will enable Regulus to contribute to other programs within the NextGen portfolio,” said Bob Pomrink, Partner and Director of Surveillance Solutions.
