2012 WOODSTOCK TURKEY TROT
Join us for the third annual Woodstock Turkey Trot! This 5K/10K race starts and finishes at the Massanutten Military Academy track and runs through the town of Woodstock. The sponsor for this race is Regulus Group, LLC and all proceeds from the event will benefit Luke’s Backpack – a service program designed to provide healthy meals to children who may not have substantial meals outside of school. Identified school aged children are sent home each Friday of the school term with a backpack packed containing six nourishing meals plus milk, water and wholesome snacks..

DIRECTIONS
Take Exit 283 for VA-42 toward Woodstock. Turn left at VA-42 North/West Reservoir Road. Turn left at US-11/S. Main Street. The Academy will be on your left.
LUKE’S BACKPACK
The 2012 Woodstock Turkey Trot proceeds will be benefiting Luke’s Backpack. Luke’s Backpack is a service program designed to provide healthy meals to children who may not have substantial meals outside of school. Identified school aged children are sent home each Friday of the school term with a backpack packed containing six nourishing meals plus milk, water and wholesome snacks.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE
7:30 am Registration & packet pick-up begins
8:15 am Teeny K Fun Run begins*
9:00 am 5K & 10K begin
*Registrants must be 10 years or younger. The run will be 2.5 laps around the Massanutten Military Academy track and will take place prior to the 5K/10K race start.
PRIZES
Ribbons will be awarded to all Teeny K participants.
5K/10K prizes: For each race, medals will be awarded to the overall male and female winners and the top three male and female in the following age groups: 13 & under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. T-shirt is guaranteed for all pre-registered race participants. T-shirt size choice guaranteed for all race participants registered by October 31. Refreshments will be provided.
